As of 2018-2019, Engadine Consolidated Schools participates in the Community Eligibility Program. This program provides free breakfast and lunch to ALL students. There is no application necessary for benefits.
Our cafeteria is meeting tough new federal nutrition standards for school meals, ensuring that meals are healthy and well-balanced and provide students all the nutrition they need to succeed at school. Now is a great time to encourage your kids to choose school lunch!
School meals offer students milk, fruits and vegetables, proteins and grains, and they must meet strict limits on saturated fat and portion size. Fresh vegetables offered daily may include: romaine, spinach, cucumbers, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, onion, green peas, jicama, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, sliced tomatoes, red or green peppers, celery, beets, lite ranch, lite french, lite italian or caesar dressing, greek, honey mustard. Fresh fruit offered daily. Milk choices: 1% White, Fat Free Chocolate, or Skim in 8 oz cartons. USDA is an equal opportunity provider and employer. Condiments are offered upon request.
